If It’s Wrong, Change It.

Following on from the rip-roaring success of our last Creating Change event FIGHTING BACK, we have decided to take our unique blend of fun, campaigning and culture on the road – all the way to Colchester Arts Centre.

The brilliant performing arts venue has now put on sale tickets for our IF IT’S WRONG, CHANGE IT night event – an evening mixing entertainment and discussion, featuring top local bands, live art performers, poets, political campaigners, stalls, exhibitions, banners and lovely food.

Top Colchester band Pet Needs, DJ Ben Howard, Wivenhoe’s Lighthouse Jam – and more live acts to be announced – will be joined on stage by activists involved in local campaigns promoting fairness, justice and equality. All topped up by poet Mike Harwood and The Great Antonio and his Bed o’ Nails.

To avoid disappointment – the FIGHTING BACK event was a sell-out – you can buy tickets online here or at the Arts Centre box office on 01206500900.  To keep updated on the line-up and see who else is going, visit the event Facebook page here:.

All proceeds will go to Colchester Refugee Action and Beacon House, a Colchester charity set up to help homeless people.

The event will take place of September 21st. Tickets cost £5 – concessions £3. The doors will open at 7.30pm and it starts at 8pm.

Watch this space for the announcement of another top band and speakers from three grassroots campaigns.
